CTI technicians perform visual inspections on condensers and heat exchangers. The techniques include three-ball micrometer measurements and a rigid borescope.

The 3-ball micrometer inspection typically consists of tube I.D. readings taken at the various depths into the tubes. This will determine the extent and depth of erosion, and the necessary dimensions required for the CTI Shield and Liner.

CTI applies 100% solid epoxy coatings formulated to suit specific job conditions, including:

  • Abrasion
  • Erosion/Corrosion
  • Galvanic action

In the case that one of CTI’s patented restoration systems cannot solve your problem, heat exchangers can be re-tubed In-situ or in one of our fully equipped workshops.
